Glen Gadowsky

FCPA, FCGA - Partner

Glen Gadowsky earned his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2000 & starting practicing under Glen Gadowsky Professional Corporation. In 2014 Glen formed Gadowsky & Associates LLP with Sharon Johnson as partner. Richard Dang CPA, CA replaced Sharon as a partner in 2019 bringing a new perspective & growth opportunities, while Sharon took on new endeavors.

Very active in the accounting community, Glen was recently named Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA) for his efforts providing accounting networking opportunities, promoting education through idea sharing, seminars & by sponsoring an annual conference. He is a Director with the Edmonton CPA Club, Chairs with the Edmonton Public Practitioners Group & the Red Deer Public Practitioners Conference. He sits on several boards as Director, President, & CFO.

In his free time, Glen enjoys travelling with his wife Darlene, & entertaining guests in his home.

Richard Dang

CPA, CA - Partner

Richard Dang received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2008 & has been in public practice for over 10 years. In between his public practice experience, he worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a family run company. Richard joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in June 2017 & became a partner in June 2019. As a trusted business advisor, he focuses on client needs, utilizing optimal strategies to increase their wealth & achieve their goals.

Richard enjoys his family time with his wife Angela & their two daughters. In his spare time, he coaches & plays soccer.

Edward Juszkiewicz

CPA, CGA - Associate LLP

Edward Juszkiewicz received his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 1981. He has applied his varied knowledge & experiences in accounting & taxation to provide comprehensive services to small business, estates, & individuals. Edward joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in 2015.

Dianne Curley

PCP - General Manager

Dianne Curley joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in February of 2008 as a payroll clerk. She received her Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification (PCP) from the Canadian Payroll Association in 2010. Dianne has continued to grow with the firm & became General Manager in 2016. Currently, Dianne works directly with clients completing monthly, semi-monthly, & bi-weekly payroll, ensuring payroll compliance, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audits/reviews for payroll as well as performing full service corporate bookkeeping & managing Human Resources (HR).

In her off time, Dianne enjoys spending her free time with her family & is a dedicated soccer mom & fan.

Donna Zacharuk

BEd - Office Manager

Donna Zacharuk began working for Glen Gadowsky Professional Corporation in October of 2005 assisting clients with personal tax audits. She started bookkeeping training at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2005 & is currently working toward her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Donna’s role with the firm has grown as the firm has evolved & is the firm’s Office Manager. Working mainly at the Sherwood Park location, Donna’s work entails keeping the firm’s offices running smoothly through administration, managing software, cloud-based bookkeeping, assisting with human resources, developing the firm’s social media presence & firm functions.

Darlene Gadowsky

C.E.T. - Office Administration Support

Darlene Gadowsky joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in February 2019 as an accounting assistant after years working as an engineering technologist.  In that role she prepared client documents, exploring new software to keep the firm current & efficient, & structuring digital record keeping.

In June 2023, Darlene made the transition to her new role as Office Administration Support. Darlene currently manages client relations, preparation of annual returns, assisting with firm functions, managing meetings, appointments & our client database.

In her off time, Darlene enjoys spending time with her extended family & traveling with her husband, Glen.

Andrew Chang

CPA, CGA - Senior Accountant

Andrew Chang graduated from University of Alberta majoring in accounting. He has been in public practice since 2007 & received his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2010. He joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in April 2013. Andrew is currently working as a senior accountant, preparing corporate compilation, review & audit engagements. He also works on corporate client bookkeeping & assists with bookkeeping clean up.

Andy Lu

BCom - Junior Accountant

Andy Lu began his relationship with Gadowsky & Associates LLP through a volunteer project at MacEwan University in February 2023. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree majoring in accounting & minoring in finance in April 2023. Shortly after, he joined the team as a Junior Accountant in June 2023. Andy currently assists the team in preparing compilation, review, & audit engagements; bookkeeping, GST filing, & basic personal income tax returns. He is also pursuing his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in hopes of expanding his accounting knowledge & building meaningful professional relationships. 

In his free time, Andy enjoys cheering on the Oilers, trying different foods with his girlfriend, & has a passion for JDM & Euro cars.

Erin Pierce

BBA - Junior Accountant

Erin Pierce (nee Sims) graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with an emphasis in accounting at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2015 & joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in January 2017 as office administration support. In that role she managed client relations, preparation of annual returns, assisting with firm functions, managing meetings, appointments & our client database.

Erin transitioned to her new role as a Junior Accountant in June 2023. Erin currently assists the team in preparing tax returns for both corporate & personal income tax returns, compilation engagements, bookkeeping, GST filing & payroll. 

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time in nature & travelling with her husband & family on all their numerous adventures.

Meet Patel

BCom - Accounting Technician/Junior Accountant

Meet Patel joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in May 2023. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Gujarat University (India), majoring in Advanced Accounting & Auditing. Additionally, he obtained certification in Advanced Accounting & Finance from Seneca College (Toronto). Meet currently works as an Accounting Technician/Junior Accountant, assisting the team in preparing compilation, audit, & review engagements. He is also responsible for bookkeeping, GST filing, & tax returns for both corporate & personal clients. He is actively working towards obtaining his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Meet is fluent in Gujarati & Hindi. In his leisure time, Meet enjoys watching cricket & tennis, as well as traveling with his wife & family. Meet also enjoys sharing his favorite Indian dishes with the team.

Natalya Volyanyuk

BBA - Senior Accountant

Natalya Volyanyuk joined Gadowsky & Associates LLP in September 2009 while completing her Bachelor of Applied Business Administration (BBA), with a major in Accounting. She received her degree in June 2011. Natalya is currently working as a senior accountant preparing compilation & review engagements. She also performs bookkeeping services, trains team members & clients in bookkeeping, assists clients in fixing bookkeeping records, provides client support for Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audits/reviews & when requested, she works onsite at client offices providing monthly bookkeeping services.

Natalya is fluent in Ukrainian, enjoys hiking, painting & reading.

Shirley Holland

Personal Tax Consultant

Shirley Holland joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in February 2015, after moving to Edmonton from Medicine Hat. She brings 25 years of bookkeeping experience & more than 20 years of personal tax experience with her. Shirley has been a course instructor & has handled every level of personal taxes from sole proprietors, to farming, to rental properties. With Gadowsky & Associates LLP Shirley works on corporate & personal bookkeeping, GST preparation & filing, personal income tax returns, in-house review & Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audits/reviews. Shirley is also our specialist for estate returns. She splits her time between both our Edmonton & Sherwood Park locations.

Relishing time with her family will always be a top priority for Shirley as she is a proud Grandma & loves spending time with her spouse enjoying classic vehicles.

Sylvia Maennchen

Personal Tax Consultant

Sylvia Maennchen joined the Gadowsky & Associates LLP team in September 2015. She brings with her 15 years of experience with personal taxes including sole proprietorships, rental properties & Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audits/reviews. She specialized in investments after completing her Canadian Securities course in 2005. She has been a course instructor for Introduction to Taxes, has done Tax Tips on CHAT T.V. on the nightly news in 2010, 2011 & 2013. With Gadowsky & Associates LLP Sylvia also prepares & processes corporate PHSP claims, works on client bookkeeping, GST preparation & filing, as well as CRA audits/reviews. She is continuously furthering her education, enabling her to be on top of all the tax changes & updates. She splits her time between both our Edmonton & Sherwood Park locations.

In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending time outdoors in the summer & reading in the winter.

Andrew Pierzchajlo

CPA, CGA - Associate (Retired)

Andrew Pierzchajlo received his designation in 1991 & opened his public practice firm Pierzchajlo & Company on February 1, 1991. In addition to the practice, Andrew was a tax instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) for some 15 years. While at NAIT Andrew prepared & lead several seminars including Taxation & Accounting to Human Resources Canada. He merged his practice with Gadowsky & Associates LLP in 2020 & is a partner in the firm.

In his off time, Andrew likes to spend his winters in Jamaica & summers camping & fishing. The merger with Gadowsky & Associates LLP will allow him to spend even more time in Jamaica.
