2024 Budget Changes to the Capital Gains Inclusion Rate

The 2024 federal budget proposes changing the capital gains inclusion rate from 1/2 to 2/3, effective for disposition (sale) of assets on or after June 25, 2024.

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

On May 1, 2024 the federal government rolled out the CDCP for eligible seniors aged 70 & older & opened up online applications for those aged 65-69.
